Deep In The Heart – Free Printable
A while back Bill built me some hanging ledges for the giant wall above our couch. I haven’t posted about them yet because I was waiting until I filled them with fun things like photos, art and meaningful chachkies. They’re still not full but I’ve been pinning ideas and creating things to print and frame for our new ledges. I wanted some of the pieces to exemplify our home towns and the places we’ve lived. For Bill there is a photo I took of the Liberty Bell (he’s from Philadelphia) and for me I wanted to create some art that had something to do with Texas. After much debate I ended up creating this…
I love it. It looks awesome on our shelf in a white mat and black frame. And because Texas is great and because I wanted to share the love I thought I’d provide it as a free printable! Hip hip hurray for free!! Just click the image above to download. And you are absolutely welcome to Pin this and share it with your friends. And, [insert shameless plug] check out our other printables in our etsy shop.
Happy printing!
(PS. It’s an 8×10 so you could have it printed as a photo if you’d rather.)

Little Boy’s Dinosaur Birthday Party

These dinosaur 2″ circle party printable decorations are piping HOT off the presses (or off the computer I suppose). I haven’t even shot the promo shots for them yet. I was just too excited to have them just sit in my computer files, waiting to be shared with the world.
I’m really really excited about them!
I don’t think you could tell.
They make me wish I had a little boy to throw a dinosaur party for because as I was making them I was getting all these awesome ideas of party games and DIY projects. And since I don’t have a little boy to share them with I’ll just share them here on my blog so I can live vicariously through mom’s with little boys and dinosaur themed parties.
First off, I created an Dinosaur Birthday Party Etsy Treasury and there is A LOT of cool stuff out there, but more on that in a moment.
A Dinosaur Birthday Party Game
So I thought it would be hecka cool if you did a child style archeological dig. It would be great if you already had a sandbox, if not I suppose you could use a tarp and cover it with sand. OR you could use the game as a good excuse to build a sandbox <link to a SWEET sandbox I pinned. But make sure you build a sandbox with a cover on it, or neighborhood cats will thank you for building them the ultimate giant litter box. And let’s face it, you don’t want your party guests digging for that kind of treasure.
1. I found these very cool personalized sand pails from DeLaDesign over on etsy. She’ll do them in just about any color, so you can have them match the green, orange and blue in the party printable design. She will also do them with a SWEET dinosaur on them instead of the alligator pictured. The goal is to get your guest list nailed down ahead of time (by sending out our dinosaur themed printable party invites, wink wink) so you can have Debi over at DeLaDesign create one for each of your guests. I’d definitely suggest getting a few extras, without names, just in case.
2. So what will your child guests be digging for…well anything really, candy, fake dinosaur bones, those little plastic dinosaurs you can get at the dollar store, tubes of bubbles, anything. OR they could dig for this. Yep, that’s right, its concrete dinosaur bones, and at a great price too. I’m the educational type so I’d take the opportunity to teach the kids all about archeology and dinosaur bones and all of that.
They’d love me or they’d hate me.
3. But they’re guarenteed to love me if they’re also digging for these. This are probably the coolest cookies ever! They come individually wrapped in cellophane bags with ribbon. If you made sure that ribbon was tied really tight I’m pretty sure you could bury these in your sandy archeological dig without them getting…sandy.
The rest of the Dinosaur Birthday Party Etsy Treasury is below, there’s a lot of really good stuff down there; handmade dinosaur bunting, dinosaur shaped crayons, and patterns for DIY crochet Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus and Triceratops. I’ve also included some decoration staples like cupcake papers, cupcake stand, dino cookies, striped straws, and an oilcloth tablecloth in coordinating colors. It’s the perfect dino party for sure!

Party Design – How We Bring it Together
Here at Diliberto Photo & Design we do a lot – portrait photography, wedding and event photography, business branding and marketing, and event and party design.. Today I’d like to focus on our party printables and party design and how we make that all come together by showing you what we did for Bethia and Joel’s wedding.
We started by sitting down with the bride and talking about her vision for her wedding, the color scheme, the look and feel, the style of the event. She wanted colorful and fun so we went with it and came up with an over all graphic design theme for her wedding.
The Wedding Invitations
I was lucky enough to be able to do a For The Love of Couples engagement session with Bethia and Joel and we knew they wanted to include an image or two on their invitation. Even though the invitation would be seen by guests months before the wedding I knew I wanted it to coordinate with design elements we’d use later in the wedding decor and accessories. So I created their own wedding seal, which we used on their invitations, party printables, and their photo guestbook.

What else is great is that if we replaced the date with their home address created awesome return address labels for their custom thank you cards!

The Decorations and Printable Decor
We had a lot of fun working together to create Joel & Bethia’s custom printables and wedding decor. Bethia was a very hands on bride and did a ton of crafting with friends and family to create her perfect wedding. Her boquet was probably my favorite of all time!

She created it using antique broaches she found on ebay and local antique stores. It was beautiful.
Anyways, back to the printables. Bethia knew she needed 2″ Circles for cupcake toppers, food labels, and 2″ thank you circles. At first she had planned on doing adorable colorful bags with different artisan sandwiches in them so we created these to stick onto the colorful bags:

Last minute they changed the food menu so we scrapped these awesome food labels and went a different direction. I still love these labels and hope I can eventually find a way to use them.
Bethia planned on making tons of cupcakes and using them on tiered platters for the centerpieces. She asked if I could create 2″ party circles they could attach to lollypop sticks and use at cupcake toppers. We utilized their personal seal as well as elements from their invitation to create the 2″ circle cupcake toppers.

We also created 2″ thank you circles with the phrase “thank you for sharing in the merriment” as their thank you circles. In the wedding invitation wording that Bethia wrote “to be followed thereafter by merriment, dinner, music, and cupcakes” which is where we got the thank you for sharing in the merriment line. The cheers wine glasses were from their invitation.
Wedding Accessories
While the whole wedding was AMAZING, and Bethia did a great job of bringing everything together, one of my favorite things was their photo guestbook.

It’s an exclusive item from Diliberto Photo & Design, we explained the whole thing a while back on this blog post. Basically we used photos from their engagement session and left space for people to sign. In my opinion it’s way better than a book of people’s signatures.
To top it all off, we also used their custom wedding seal on the back of the book.

It was SO fun to be at the wedding and watch people look through the book and sign it. Most people wrote wonderful message to the bride and groom and I hope that this book becomes a cherished piece in their home that holds tons of memories and love from family and friends.

The last and final thing we created for Joel and Bethia’s wedding was the little instructional signs which were framed in inexpensive frames. Signs like these need a bit of planning but they really bring it all together and helps guests know what to do. For Bethia and Joel we did a sign the guestbook sign and a few other instructional ones as well as two quotes that really summed up who they are together. The one below by Dr. Seuss is probably my favorite:
“We are all a little weird and life’s a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love.”
And that’s how we bring it all together. For Bethia and Joel’s wedding I had the pleasure of working directly with the bride but we love working with wedding planners too. These custom wedding collections are some of my favorite to create and the most exciting part is seeing them in use, among all the other elements of the wedding and decor.

Are you planning a wedding or party? What kind of theme are you doing? Is there anything we can do to help?

Custom Invitation :: Sunset Cruise

I recently had the honor of creating this custom invitation for one of my loyal etsy clients. I love doing custom work, it gives me a chance to be completely creative and artsy. I’m very happy with how this one turned out, I was going for a 1950s “wish you were here” postcard type feel. My favorite part is the boat silhouette, which I created of the actual boat they’d be cruising on.
Thank you for the awesome job, and happy sailing!

Halloween is Coming
Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure if my favor of the day stems from my love of playing dress up, or that my mom used to sew slash create the most elaborate and amazing halloween costumes. Yep that’s me and my mom. She turned my stroller into a lion cage too. Yep, she’s that awesome.

All my memories of past Halloweens are all awesome. Like when Bill and I dressed up like President Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe.

Or last year when we dressed up as Zeus and Athena.
Thats why designing a halloween party printable theme was SO much fun!
I went for a grungy look with a lot of the traditional imagery from Halloween. I love lime green and purple in Halloween decor so I made sure to include them too. The Halloween Party Printable of the Party Circles which can be used for jar labels, food labels, favor tags, place cards, thank you cards, cupcake toppers, or anything you can dream up is available for purchase on my etsy here. Additional items like invitations, a 6″ circle, and party straw flags are on their way. If you need any additional items in this theme please do not hesitate to contact me and I can get them designed for you.
I’m loving this theme and am sad to say we won’t be having a halloween party this year to use them at. Our good friends are getting married on the 29th and we’ll be doing exciting wedding adventures that weekend. So I hope that you all use them for your halloween parties and send us lots of pictures.

Etsy Treasury for the Perfect Pool Party
Onward with the Party Printable complete Etsy Treasuries! Here’s what I’ve put together for the Pool Party Treasury (click the image to go straight to the treasury).
There are so many things you could use to complete the Pool Party Theme. Most of the items I used in the promotional photo shoot came from good ol’ Wal-mart, however handmade and vintage items add such a touch of charm to your party. For the adults I’d love to add that Yellow Cocktail Sugar to the rims of those repurposed Caguama Bar Glasses with a Yellow and White Striped Straw maybe filled with a margarita or a mojito!
The great thing about the pool party theme is that it can easily be used as a birthday party theme. So, for that special little birthday girl the organic crocheted girl’s bikini is SO adorable. Those cute Darcy Sunglasses would top off her little outfit and make a great parting gift for all her friends. Add the sunglasses and a Peshtemal Towel and a Large Twirlable Pinwheel to a Personalized Sand Pail and you’ve got an adorable thank you gift for all your guests.
For decoration (and a yummy treat) fill the Green Distressed Canisters with some lovely Dark Chocolate Covered Oreos! Top off your decor with some Tissue Poms a few more Pinwheels and a Party Rules Cottage Sign.
All this along with the Pool Party Printables and you’ve got a pretty fantastic pool party!

Etsy Treasury for the Perfect Glam Party
I’ve spent some time putting together etsy treasuries (ie. lists of really great items on etsy) to help complete a Diliberto Photo & Design Party Printable theme. Its seriously been a blast and I’ve found a TON of really really cool etsy folks to connect with. I absolutely love handmade and LOVE the idea of supporting other etsy sellers and handmade gurus by having a completely handmade and vintage party.
This is the treasury for the Glam Party Printables (click the image to go to the etsy treasury). I’m in love with everything on this treasury, its probably my favorite of the three that I’ve done so far. I’m in love with the vintage melamine salad serving set and the pink pearl eraser bowl. I also love when trash gets recycled into treasure such as the Recycled Wine Bottle Serving Tray/Cheese Board. I want one of these for my parties.
What I also love about this party theme is that it could very easily be transformed from a birthday party theme to a bachelorette party or a bridal shower theme.
Everything in this treasury just makes me smile.

New Pool Party Printables
YAY! A new line!! I’m SO happy with it and ecstatic about the promo shoot I did today. My three little models were so great and one of their brothers was the greatest helper I could ever ask for. I think the shoot turned out wonderful and I can’t wait to see this new line get put to good use.
Notice our 6″ party circle sets the stage for our Pool Party Theme. These are great, you can use them alone like this or string them up to make garland.
Ok so first off, the party printable circles. I get asked all the time, “what else can I use these for?” Well of course there is the cupcake topper, but we punched holes in ours and added them to bendy straws to dress up the girls’ drinks. We also attached them to the tops of bubbles (you could use the thank you circles too and they could double as party favors). You could use them on place cards, on toothpicks to decorate a food spread, the possibilities are endless. I think thats why I love them so much.
I think food labels are essential to any party. It saves the question of, hmm what is this odd food item. They can also play double duty as place setting labels, instruction labels for games, they can also be used as cute thank you notes after the party is over. I love multipurpose items.
I’m a little in love with our bottle labels. I’m working on adding them to all the collections because I can’t believe how much they play up a party. For these we didn’t even have to remove the current label, just went right over them. I would highly suggest using water resistant paper if you’re having a pool party or are planning on icing these down. What’s great is they can be used on soda bottles, juice bottles, water bottles, basically any kind of bottle.
Our invite for this pool party collection is very simple but I love it. I would highly suggest adding a party circle to the back of the envelope to dress it up a bit!
Last but certainly not least we have our thank you circles. Great for favors or on the envelopes of thank you cards after the party.
