Joe is the oldest in his family. I’ve shot his family several times before, here and here, but it was kind of fun to just focus on Joe and get to know him a little bit better. Joe played football for Klein Collins and is headed to Blinn to play some more football.

We had a lot going against us for his session. The stadium we planned on shooting at was filled with track and field folks, and no one at the gates were helpful about if we could get in just to take pictures. We headed to his home field just as it started to sprinkle. We fought the rain and won for a while but with the extreme overcast it was impossible to get any gorgeous light photos for his non football themed pictures. So we shot all his football photos in the impending rain and rescheduled the rest of his session for another day.

I couldn’t be more thankful for the weather we had for the rest of his session. The light was perfect. And you may notice, Joe got a bit of a hair cut.

Best of luck Joe. Thanks for letting us capture this time in your life.
